Exhibiting at Battersea Power Station was an incredible experience that allowed me to connect with both London locals, international visitors and a once-in-a-life-time opportunity meeting the king.

As a small business owner, being part of such a high-profile event provided an invaluable opportunity to showcase my products and share my passion with a wider audience. It was a wonderful reminder of the thriving creative community in London, where each product tells a story, and every vendor has their own unique journey.

The King’s visit was not just a ceremonial one. He took the time to speak with market vendors, showing interest in the locally sourced products and handmade crafts. 

I was lucky enough to have a conversation with the King himself and to share a joke! What stood out most was how down-to-earth and approachable he was. Despite his royal status, he made a point of making everyone feel very comfortable. It’s not every day that you get to meet royalty, so this encounter was truly unforgettable. I left the conversation feeling both very honoured, privileged and inspired.
